Job Description

Location: Elkhart, IN (On-Site) Pay Range: $24 to $34 per hour Overview Come grow with us by joining our team as an Alternative Fuel Technician! In this role, you will play a critical role for the company and will work alongside other professionals within the team and other departments. As an Alternative Fuel Technician, you must have the ability to diagnose, test, and repair vehicle utilizing computerized diagnostics equipment. Responsibilities Below is an overview of the duties and responsibilities you would take on in this role:
  • Diagnose, test, and repair vehicles utilizing computerized diagnostics equipment
  • Perform inspections and repairs using established procedures
  • Perform light and medium duty repairs in the following areas: electrical and electronic systems
  • Ability to operate all shop equipment
  • Ability to take direction and perform high quality work meeting all Company standards
  • Maintain and protect company owned property
  • Follow Company safety protocol at all times and keep work area clean
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Job Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum two years’ verifiable work experience
  • Personal tools and toolbox required
  • Must have the ability to obtain a Commercial Driver's License with “P” and “AB” endorsements
  • Able to pass CNG and Propane Training and Certification as required
  • Ability to work independently with little or no supervision required
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to lift, push and pull a minimum of 50 pounds
  • Will be required to do frequent kneeling, stooping, squatting, crawling and climbing to perform multiple tasks of position
  • Must have good manual dexterity
