Job Description

Nested API 510/653/580 Inspector need to work at Smurfit WestRock Paper Mill at Evadale, TX. Pay is $49.00 to $55.00/hr.

• Perform API 510/653/580 internal/external inspections per customer's scope of work
• Maintain a positive relationship between client, facility and customer
• Properly interpret ITP's, equipment drawings, client specifications, codes and industry standards

• Ensure that all site and HMT safety policies and procedures are being followed
• Working at client site in Evadale, TX

Required Qualifications:

• Must have current API 510/653 Certification
• API 580 or experience doing risk-based inspections
• Minimum 1 year Experience doing risk-based inspections

• Must be technically competent and knowledgeable in damage mechanisms
• Must have good written and verbal communication skills
• Must be competent and thorough in report writing and recommendations
• Must have good computer skills
• Must be familiar current API codes
• Must be knowledgeable in NDE processes required for inspections and repair
• Must be able to pass DISA background and Drug Screen (hair follicle)
• Must be able to pass a FIT test and perform inspections under supplied air

Preferred additional certifications:

• UT or UTT NDT experience
