The Carpet Cleaning Technician will be responsible for all aspects of floor cleaning. The technician must be able to work alone and or at times be able to work with others and under the direction of the Operations Manager. Often, clients will not be on the worksite when work is being performed, so as a result, good communication with the customer and our office through outlets like notes, photos, video, emails, texts, etc., is essential. In all cases, the Technician is responsible for ensuring that commercial clients are serviced right the first time. We have a core group of professionals and are looking to grow our TruClean family. • Shift hours vary depending on the job and the hours of operation of the client
• Utilizing the daily safety and materials checklist, check the work van for safety, equipment, and materials; stock the van if needed
• Obtain a daily schedule and work orders for the day. This information is maintained in the operations system, which is an online and mobile system
• Must oversee all operations on each job and maintain situational awareness and safety. Make sure that Truck mount operations and safety standards are adhered to
• Recommending other services while at the job, and doing on-the-spot demonstrations if needed
• Responsible for obtaining signatures and payments from customers and closing their end-of-day sales (check and credit card only)
• Responsible for closing the work order and finalizing the payment information in the system
• Working in the client's place of business, cleaning carpets, upholstery, tile floors, and other tasks
• Ability to drive the company van to and from a customer's house or place of business

Qualifications:

• Have a great attitude, be helpful with teammates and customers, and be courteous in their place of business
• Willing to work hard every day, be on your feet for long periods, and be able to lift equipment occasionally, up to 60 pounds
• Able to speak and write in English
• Maintain a clean-cut, neat, and clean appearance
• Have a clean, valid driver's license to be able to drive the company work vehicle
• Reliable transportation to work
• Be able to do physical work
• Pass a background check and be drug-free
• Reliable, show up to work on time every day, energetic and friendly
• Present yourself well while working with clients that expect outstanding customer service
• An eye for detail, doing a thorough job cleaning, and being organized while still being productive and getting jobs done on time
