Job Description

Terrestris, LLC is now hiring Civilian Role Players and actors to participate in National Guard training exercises across West Virginia. Exercises are 4 days in length in mid-July 2024 and will include weekdays and weekends. These roles are essential for creating realistic, scenario-based training exercises to prepare our forces for diverse operational environments. The selected individuals will portray various local civilians within simulated military settings. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the readiness and effectiveness of our military personnel.

Duties

Civilians often find themselves thrown into the heart of conflict, caught between opposing forces with little control over their circumstances. Their experiences vary widely depending on the nature of the conflict, the region, and their social status.

Civilians will be asked to play a specific role and may have to learn or create a backstory. Civilians will be required to act and improvise in multiple scenarios.

Requirements

• Must not have an existing condition that requires special needs or medical assistance.

• Must be capable of unassisted walking over rugged terrain for distances up to one-half mile at a time.

• Must be capable of standing, sitting, or lying on uneven and dirty surfaces that may be very cool or very warm for an extended period.

• Willingness and ability to follow all coordinating instructions for the execution of roles assigned.

• This exercise is a dynamic exercise and meeting schedules may change based on RP and training audience interactions.

• Must possess appropriate personal gear to facilitate 1 or more overnights in the field

• Must be able to act-out, improvise and otherwise simulate mental and physical injuries to create a realistic experience for trainees.

• Must be willing and able to work non-standard hours.
