FULL DESCRIPTION :

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Manage all aspects of financial reporting, including month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to support company goals.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Work with team to ensure pricing structure is adequate to meet financial goals and market demands.
• Implement and maintain effective internal controls and accounting policies.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations.
• Work closely with management to share financial reports, analysis, and insights.
• Develop strategies to reduce financial risk.
• Monitor internal controls, manage financial transactions and streamline accounting processes.
• Oversee audit and tax functions, coordinate activities with external auditors and review firms' performance.
• Provide leadership and support to the accounting team.
• Implement and monitor effective financial strategies.
• Assist in project-based work as needed.

The selected candidate will also possess:

• Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive financial experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency with accounting software (experience with QuickBooks required and Fishbowl ERP systems is a plus).
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities, with a collaborative mindset.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a part-time capacity.

Salary Range: $43.27-62.50/hr
