WSP is currently initiating a search for an Inspector Aide for our Atlanta, GA and Thomaston, GA offices. Assignment will be for any project in the Thomaston Georgia GDOT District 3. This position will be involved in projects with our Earth & Environment Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client's objectives and solves their challenges.
This is entry level technical work position supporting higher level inspectors and engineers in functional areas of Roadway Construction inspection: Materials sampling, Inspection, and Testing. Performs assignments under direct supervision. Typically, assignments include inspecting, measuring and documenting work performed by a construction contractor and providing support as required for GDOT and consultant personnel performing inspection of construction activities. Solves problems of a routine nature with ample precedent or clearly defined procedures. Work is supervised/reviewed regularly.
