Job Description

Resident Services is an established, local property management company that is dedicated to providing team members with a respectful and positive work environment.

• Perform repairs and maintenance of our community common areas and grounds as well as individual apartment units.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and repair basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance issues.
• Complete apartment make-ready (turnovers).
• Perform preventive maintenance.
• Communicate and report maintenance issues to the supervisor.
• Maintain maintenance shop and inventory.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Strong knowledge in all facets of multi-family housing.
• Deadline and detail-orientated.
• Positive, team orientated attitude.
• Reliable insured and licensed vehicle.
• Valid WI driver’s license and good driving record.
• Hand tools.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to climb a ladder.
• Ability use stairs.
• Ability to lift heavy objects.
• Ability to bend at the waist and work on knees.
• Ability to reach overhead.
• Ability to work outside in hot or cold weather.
• Ability to teach and be taught.
• HVAC certification is preferred but not required.
• Must live within 30 minutes of the west side of Madison due to on-call rotation or be willing to relocate.

Hours of Work:

• Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm, with on-call rotation.
