Responsibilities

  • Providing corporate paralegal assistance , such as managing the digitization of records .

  • O rganizing documents, and assisting with updates to the entity management system to ensure accurate and efficient record-keeping.

  • Handling ad hoc assignments, which may involve conducting legal research on various topics , such as AI compliance, preparing legal documents, and supporting the legal team in various projects to gain valuable exposure to the diverse range of matters handled by the corporate legal department of a public company.

  • Actively participate in conference calls and team meetings, offering a firsthand observation of the legal team's role in supporting Genpact's business operations and the opportunity to contribute to discussions and gain a deeper understanding of the legal aspects of the company's operations.

  • Reviews and advises management on legal implications of internal policies and procedures.

  • Demonstrable commercial and legal judgment including the ability to assess risk and advise accordingly.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications / Skills

  • Pursing Bachelor's or a law degree from an accredited college/university

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – Excel, PowerPoint, Word

  • Excellent problem-solver, hyper logical, and goal-oriented thinker

  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills – verbal and written

Preferred Qualifications / Skills

  • Excellent presentation skills – in person & virtually

  • Ability to work effectively in team environments

  • Able to create & maintain relationships easily

  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity

  • Interest in AI

The approximate annual base compensation range for this position is $50,000 to $62,500. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package plus benefits, will be determined by a number of factors which include but are not limited to the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities; geographic location; and internal equity
