Job Description

Elevate Semiconductor’s mission is to serve our semiconductor and system test customers by providing world class test integrated circuits (ICs) that address the industry’s most complex ATE challenges. We strive to exceed our customer’s expectations, now and well into the future, through designing the lowest power/highest density solutions, with the goal of providing the lowest possible cost of test.

 As a Project Manager, you will report directly to the CEO and be responsible for executing key projects initiated by the executive team. You will play a critical role in project management, executive reporting, and fostering cross-functional collaboration across departments including Engineering, Finance, Sales, and Operations.

 This position will require you work onsite in San Diego, CA.

Responsibilities

Executive Reporting and Meetings:

  • Prepare and run executive meetings using strong PowerPoint skills.
  • Coordinate and facilitate:
    • Executive staff meetings (weekly)
    • Executive daily stand-up task force (as needed)
    • Board update meetings (quarterly)
    • Board strategy meetings (semi-annual/quarterly)
    • All-Hands meetings
    • Operational reviews (monthly)
    • Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings (monthly)

Project Management:

  • Utilize strong Excel skills to manage various projects, including:
    • New product introductions (cross-functional)
    • Labor inventory management
    • Collaborate with IC Design on labor hour input factors
    • Work with Operations on direct costs (COGS, labor hours)
    • Coordinate with Product Engineering on labor hours and direct costs
    • Partner with Finance to obtain new project value estimates for project comparisons

 Engineering Metrics:

  • Obtain measurable metrics from all engineering groups.
  • Own the metrics and ensure regular follow-up with engineering teams to track progress.
  • Report metrics to the executive staff and board.

Legal Documents:

  • Manage and execute NDAs, ensuring accurate record-keeping.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager within a technical space
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint (e.g., slide design, animations, advanced formatting).
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

 

Preferred Skills

  • Certification in Project Management
  • Experience in new product introduction and cross-functional project management.
  • Familiarity with engineering metrics and financial analysis.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
