Title: Purchasing Specialist.

Classification: Non-Exempt.
Pay Rate: $22/hr.
Reports to: Senior Purchasing Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily performance of vendor-product ordering process.
  • Foster and maintain strong vendor relationships, facilitating clear communication.
  • Initiate orders, coordinating intake schedules efficiently.
  • Inventory oversight, maintaining PAR levels.
  • Generate and dispatch product allocations based on each store’s individual needs.
  • Verify incoming delivery quantities against METRC manifests for accuracy.
  • Accurately capture purchasing invoices for daily submission to Accounting.
  • Routine collaboration with other departments, ensuring smooth handoffs for various internal processes.
  • Maintain an organized ordering schedule and manage delivery cadence effectively.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Purchasing Manager to implement price adjustments and onboard new SKUs.
  • Track and promptly communicate vendor outages or fulfillment issues to the Purchasing team.
  • Address and resolve Quality Concerns tickets from the Retail teams.
  • Undertake occasional front desk duties, including vendor check-ins/outs.
  • Handle incoming phone calls and emails promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure all necessary teams receive copies of the vendor invoices.
  • Assist with additional general administrative and departmental tasks, as needed.

Requirements:

  • OLCC Handlers Permit.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

  • Ability to remain focused and in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

  • Full-time.
  • On-site at APW Warehouse.
  • Monday to Friday, 9 am - 5 pm.
