Qualifications
Minimum 1 year hospitality guest service experience.
Must hold current Washington State food handler and alcohol server/seller permits.
Must have a dedication to guest service and creating a welcoming atmosphere with demonstrated success and consistent performance resulting in first class hospitality experiences.
Must have reliable transportation.
Availability to work flexible schedules including day/evening shifts, weekends and holidays as required by the needs of the business.
Guest service requires the ability to stand and walk continuously during shift; frequent bending, reaching, and stretching; repetitive manual tasks; and lift and to carry up to 50 lbs.
We are a tobacco free company—we do not hire tobacco users (smoke, vape, chew…etc.)

Benefits
$16.66/hour + tips
This position will earn a base hourly rate equivalent to Washington State minimum wage - $16.66/hour - and will be eligible to participate in our company tip pool.
However, employees generally earn between $3.00 and $18.00 in tips per hour.

Paid sick leave (1 hour paid sick leave for every 40 hours worked after 90 days of employment.)
Must be available to work 3pm to 11pm weekdays and 3pm to midnight on weekends. Some holidays and most weekends are required.

Responsibilities
Greet guests at tables
Be knowledgeable about food and wine on menu
Take orders for food and drinks
Prepare and serve all drinks including wine, coffee, tea and non alcoholic drinks.
Deliver guest orders
Finalize guest checks
All team members are proactive and work in unison for successful service while also being able to work independently when needed.
Constant observation of activity on the restaurant floor to anticipate the needs of your service team and guests.
Dedication to creating first class hospitality experience for guests
Assist other team members in providing consistent service
Clear and set tables in a timely manner. Transport used dish and glassware in bins to kitchen for cleaning.
Maintain cleanliness of dining and service areas by mopping and sweeping frequently.
Prioritize resolution of service issues with guests calmly and confidently. Our #1goal is to exceed expectations.
While on the service floor, every team member is the face of the restaurant and should embody the spirit of exceptional service.
Complete assigned responsibilities including, but not limited to, opening, side work, and closing/cleaning duties
Keep all service stations and dining sections stocked, clean, and organized
Assist with welcoming and seating guests, and other requests as needed
Reinforce guest identification requirements and age restrictions for alcohol sales in accordance with state law. Must be vigilant and follow state laws for service and consumption of alcohol
Adhere to all food handling and alcohol service safety procedures and direct questions to management.
