Job Description

NAOVI is seeking a Sr. Graphic Designer to assist the government with the following task:

Primary responsibilities:

• Develops graphics, digital media, cartography, and other multimedia products
• Utilizes request management tools to provide swift, high quality customer support for communication requests.
• Coordinates with UI/UX designer in Knowledge Management, to ensure graphic products provide an engaging and user friendly experience.
• Creates graphic designs for a variety of written and digital products.
• Develops design concepts and implements designs for new web pages, mobile applications, newsletters, ads, infographics, banners, illustrations, logos, and other type of digital content that will be presented online.
• Ensures products conform to all production standards, copywrite laws, accessibilities compliance requirements, public release clearances.
• Conducts technical quality checks.
• Manages an approved concept and build in HTML/CSS so it complies with responsive design principles.
• Provides Cartography support, as needed, to design thematic and reference maps.
• Experience with the following:

o Leading the development of graphics, digital media, cartography, and other
multimedia products
o Front-end web design, UI/UX, HTML/CSS
o Photography and video editing
o Mentoring and trains junior staff
o Creating graphics products that provide an engaging and user friendly experience
o Creating graphic designs for a variety of written and digital products
o Developing design concepts and implements designs for new web pages, mobile
applications, newsletters, ads, infographics, banners, illustrations, logos, and other
types of digital content presented online
o Ensuring products conform to all production standards, copywrite laws,
accessibility compliance requirements, public release clearances
o Conducting technical quality checks

Required Education and Experience:

• BA/BS and 3+ years of experience or no degree and 9 years of experience.
• TS/SCI with Polygraph level clearance required.
• A portfolio of your experience is needed with your resume.
